He even has Biz Markie come and sing his never going out of style song "Just A Friend". Hakeem works on a new hot song with Nessa, but of course Shine is there to block it from going anything past business. Jamal has found a new organization to help as he works through his PTSD. If loosing his wife and baby was not enough, Andre is assaulted and arrested by the police.

Empire’s season finale “Past Is Prologue” was a solid episode. Not great, but it’s just enough to get us back next season.
We get so much in this finale; Jamal’s home coming party, Anika’s suicide attempt, and the dramatic fight scene between Anika and Rhonda to close the episode.
We also get a few story changes; the biggest one being…. who killed Luscious’ father?
This finale showers us with beautiful music only Empire can deliver!

We loved this latest episode of Empire, "Rise By Sin". The drama and the shock and awe moments were at an all time high. The acting by all the actors were superb. There are still many question we have, and we hope they will be answered in the season finale. Will Freda go to jail for her crime? Will Lucious confess to his crimes? Now, we know that will not happen. There is a lot of talk about who push Rhonda, with the prime suspect being Anika, but we dont think it's that easy. Hakeem and Laura are planning the wedding of their dreams, but will they actually go through with it? Finally, we all want to know what Ms. Walker will tell the reporters. In the latest episode of Empire, entitled "The Lyon Who Cried Wolf" Lucious comes face to face with his mother, who he hadn't seen since he was a child. Rhonda learns a little more about her fall, and who may be responsible for it. Hakeem kills it on two songs this week, and is he falling for Tiana again? Jamal gets a new boo, but he doesn't seem to be a good match. Cookie is embracing her new role as CEO, but will her sisters secrets interfere? With only two episodes left in the season, we can only imagine what other trouble the Lyon's will get into.

We enjoyed this weeks episode of Empire. We see Hakeem having a hard time with the realization that he is no longer the CEO of empire, and that he is going to be a father. Jamal goes back to where it all started, and even reconnects with an old flame. Andre uses his mental illness as a way to get in his fathers good grace. He also learns a secret Lucious never planned on sharing. Lucious was showing his fifty shades this week with his newest love interest victim. Cookie has to play referee from keeping her family from killing each other, and her diplomatic ways pay off with a job offer of her dreams.....but will this make her gain a new enemy?
